Andrews Hall Dining Common
Students at the Pembroke campus gladly welcomed the new, $4.5 million Renovated Andrews Commons. Once an existing dining hall, the new and expanded student commons has been coined as the epicenter for first-year residents. The expansion included an exterior renovation as well as an interior renovation of the 61x100 ft. dining hall.Our talented team assisted in this project by providing a preconstruction baseline schedule review, monthly construction schedule progress, performance review, analysis, and evaluation reports, including an earned value analysis (EVA). Additionally, Turino participated in an Owner/Contractor monthly requisition review and progress status/issues meetings to successfully implement and complete this project. The newly designed commons now includes: a 24-hour study center, two food serveries, a printer center, and outdoor and indoor meeting and dining spaces. The space is comprised of lounge and dining seating, and provides a comfortable, welcoming place for students to engage in their studies or with their fellow peers.
