Four Corners Station
This $22M, two year project to construct a new MBTA Commuter Rail Station, in Fairmont, Massachusetts including the installation of drilled soldier piles and drilled shafts to allow for the construction of new high level platforms and bridges. Work also included the construction of steel canopies, access walks, communications systems, and lighting. Initially, Turino assisted S&R Construction in developing their Baseline Schedule and managing requirements for man-power and subcontractors throughout the project. On an ongoing basis Turino also helped them maintain their Project Schedule through monthly updates, conducting monthly delay analysis and changes that occurred. In addition, Turino assisted in analyzing the schedule for mitigation options which were presented and reviewed with the Contractor for cost analysis prior to implementing.
